Hi WT-LORD Fans and Players ...
I really don't have much for you this month. I have
been working long hours lately .... almost killing myself.
Spending about 18 hours a day working for the man
and trying to be a dad and husband has taken most
of my time. I'm sure things will slow a bit once
I make it to March!
HINT HINT HINT:
Q: What's the deal with the "Cussing Man"?
Is there some meaning or is he just "Fluff"?A: The Cussing man needs something .... you just
have to find the item he needs. My mom would
often use it on me as I was a kid growing up.
The reward is great ... think about it.
Many times I've been asked about this acronym
in "Joseph's Revenge" ...The hint: A******* I***
The answer: American Idol
You people need to stop putting in "Paula Abul"....
the letters in her name don't line up with the hint.20 QUESTIONS:
The questions this time will be asked by
Joseph Watson and answered by
Deb Carpenter from her nest in the Hills of Alabama, USA!
Many of you may know of her as Joe Carpenters better half, you know
the one with the "GOOD LOOKS AND BRAINS" .... !
1. Q: How long have you been playing WT-LORD?
A: (Deb Carpenter): I've been playing for a little less than
a year.
2. Q: What Character name/'s do you use when Playing WT-LORD?
A: (Deb Carpenter): I have three characters. I play under the names
Lady Gunn, Roseann Barr and Lara Croft. I sometimes play under
the name Wicked Old Broad.
3. Q: Which IGM is your favorite and why?
A: (Deb Carpenter): The Trailer House, especially when I have
some "C-4".
4. Q: How much time do you spend online? and doing what?
A: (Deb Carpenter): I usually spend about an hour and a half
playing WT-LORD then about 4 to 5 hours checking my email
and filling out work reports on AOL.
5. Q: What is your favorite food?
A: (Deb Carpenter): Seafood, especially since Joe has
developed an allergy to Shellfish!
6. Q: What do you do for a real job and do you like it?
A: (Deb Carpenter): I've got a pretty easy job. I work
for a company that does mobile traveling tool shows.
I handle the logistics for the shows arranging bookings
buildings etc. for the shows. Luckily I can do it from home.
I have to go out for three week stints to cover for managers
while they are on vacation but it's not often. I love my job!
7. Q: Where do you live?
A: (Deb Carpenter): In the "Sock Capital of the World"
Ft. Payne, Alabama!
8: Q: If you could learn an "AWESOME" secret about an IGM,
would you share it or keep it a secret?A: (Deb Carpenter): I would keep it. There are several people
I'd like to use it against over and over.
9: Q: What's your educational background?
A: (Deb Carpenter): I have a Bachelors Degree in Business
Management as well as an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice.
During the Carter Administration I was employed by the Georgia
State Patrol and attended the Secret Service School in Virginia.
When President Carter came to Georgia to visit, another Trooper
and I shared the duty of being the Liaison Officer between the
Secret Service and Local Law Enforcement. That was an
"Interesting" experience.
10. Q: What's your favorite Movie?
A: (Deb Carpenter): "Love Story", it always makes me cry!
11. Q: If you won the Lottery, what would you do with the money?
A: (Deb Carpenter): Give 10% to the Church, then pay off all
my family's debts. Invest a good portion and travel with the rest.
I'd love to spend a year in Europe.
12. Q: Are you a Pro Wrestling Fan?
A: (Deb Carpenter): Hahahaha! I used to be! When I was a little
girl, I learned real quick to let me momma do my hair during
Lawrence Welk so she would do my sister's hair during the
Georgia Championship Wrestling! When Hulk Hogan and
Bill Goldberg left the WWE, my interest dropped.
13. Q: Do you drink? If so, what's your favorite drink?
A: (Deb Carpenter): When I can. I enjoy Plum Wine,
White Wine and Margaritas.
14. Q: What's your idea of the "Perfect Man"?
A: (Deb Carpenter): ELVIS!!!! But, since he's dead, I'd have to say
my husband. Joe's not Elvis be he doesn't whine about doing housework.
He does laundry and is a better cook than I am (and I'm pretty danged good)
Joe might not be "Good Looking" by current standards but, he treats me like
a Queen!
15. Q: How old are you?
A: (Deb Carpenter): I just turned the big FIVE - OH! in November and not
ashamed of it. Joe says I'm like a bottle of wine, I just get better with age ....
16. Q: If you the world was ending today,
what would be your last "HOORAY"?A: (Deb Carpenter): Make my Peace with God and go out
while hugging my family.
17. Q: What's your all-time favorite Music Group?
A: (Deb Carpenter): ELVIS!!!! (You expect me to Alabama?) I got
to see Elvis twice before he died. I was one of his Georgia State Patrol
Escorts to the stage at his last Concert in Atlanta.
18. Q: What's a day in your life like?
A: (Deb Carpenter): Get up around 5am. and let the dog out
wake Joe to do it? haa haa. Fix Coffee and read the papers.
Get on the phone about 9am and do my work for the day.
After that, just routine stuff around the house until about 5pm.
If Joe is cooking supper, I'm watching "Charmed" and
"Law and Order" on TV. Try to get online about 7pm to
play WT-LORD and get in bed by 10pm.
19. Q: What is the wildest and craziest thing you've ever
done and do you regret it?A: (Deb Carpenter): Almost two years after Joe and I got married, he was
in Los Angeles, California for his 30th birthday. I drove from Atlanta to
LA in 4 days to surprise him with a birthday party and tell him I was
"Pregnant" then drove back to Atlanta. Regret it? Nope, not after seeing
the look on his face!
20. Q: What's your marriage status?
A: (Deb Carpenter): Very Happily Married. We just enjoyed our 22nd
Anniversary..
BONUS QUESTION:
Q: Rank yourself on a scale of 1 - 10 on your knowledge of women and how you
come to that ranking.A: (Deb Carpenter): It has to be a 3! Men are so unpredictable! <G> About the
time you have them figured out, they do something the total opposite of what
you would expect! After 22+ years with Joe and having 3 teen-aged boys in the
house, I don't even try to figure men out!
Deb, I'd like to thank you for your open answers to our
questions this month. It's been nice interviewing you and
thanks a bunch for volunteering for the interview.
Other players wishing to be interviewed should contact me!
